This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website, sign up for our waitlist, or use our platform.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Waitlist information: When you join our waitlist, we collect your name and email address.
• Account and platform information: When you use the Goodness platform, we collect information you provide, including names, email addresses, mobile phone numbers, donor records, and organizational data.
• SMS and messaging information: When mobile phone numbers are entered into the platform — either by you or by a donor opting in through a donation form — we store the phone number, opt-in timestamp, opt-in source, IP address, and the consent language displayed at opt-in. We also store records of messages sent and received, delivery status, and any opt-out activity.
• Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, referring source, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
• Log data: Our hosting provider automatically collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Communicate with you about Goodness, including product updates, launch announcements, and relevant news
• Provide the Goodness platform to nonprofit organizations and their authorized users
• Send transactional and marketing SMS messages on behalf of nonprofit organizations to donors who have opted in
• Maintain records of SMS consent and opt-outs as required by law
• Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
• Monitor and maintain the security of our website and platform

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

SMS Messaging Program

Goodness provides SMS messaging tools to nonprofit organizations through our platform. The following terms apply to all SMS communications sent through Goodness:

• Opt-in: Donors opt in to receive SMS messages from a nonprofit by checking a clearly labeled, unchecked-by-default consent box on a donation form or by texting a keyword such as START to the nonprofit's Goodness-provisioned phone number. Opt-in consent is recorded with timestamp, source, and IP address as legal proof of consent.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies by nonprofit and may include event reminders, donation receipts, fundraising appeals, and donor stewardship messages.
• Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Recipients should consult their mobile carrier plans for details.
• Opt-out: Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or OPTOUT to any message. After opt-out, the recipient will receive a final confirmation message and no further marketing messages from that nonprofit.
• Help: Recipients may reply HELP or INFO to any message to receive assistance and contact information.
• Carrier disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are processed through Twilio Inc. (our SMS service provider) solely to deliver messages on behalf of the nonprofit. See Twilio's privacy policy at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Data Retention

We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to communicate with you about Goodness. Platform data is retained for the duration of the nonprofit's subscription with Goodness, plus a reasonable retention period afterward for legal and audit purposes. SMS opt-in records and consent logs are retained for at least four years following opt-out, in accordance with TCPA recordkeeping requirements. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request that we correct or delete your personal information
• Unsubscribe from email communications at any time
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP
